RandomGuy, I want to reassure you a little. The domain expires on August 25th, but the current owner can still renew it during a so-called "grace period" (usually 30 days). If nothing happens, then it's a Redemption Period. The domain is deactivated, but the owner can still buy it back, paying a higher fee. Duration: approximately 30 additional days. Then the domain is in the Pending Delete queue (5 to 7 days). This is a disaster scenario that I do not want. For my part, I can help contact the owner through his many social networks: LinkedIn, Flickr, Twitter, etc.

Nylonfantazy, My curiosity led me to see who the owner of the forum was, I know who he is and how to contact him through his social networks, I say this in case you have a problem contacting him. Based on my research, there's a 99.9% chance it's him. He seems very preoccupied with other things. If I can help, I'd be happy to. But I can't post sensitive information here on the chat.
